作业暂告一个段落
今天是MAJI第二学期官方开始上课的第一天，尽管从1月4号起就已经折腾了人俩礼拜。
第一学期过得浑浑噩噩，这个学期得好好安排一下。上周一11号交essay, issues in journalism，还有online journalism的blog作业，外加两分半的radio feature package。
临时抱佛脚的习惯，改了三个月也没改过来，结果9号10号周末两天连着熬通宵，周一又去上了一天课，到了晚上彻底歇菜。发烧、感冒、咳嗽、浑身酸疼、幸好没拉肚，否则就是五毒俱全了。
星期二睡了一天，周三周四又上课，奶奶的，怎么就这么多课呢。周五出去半天采访。最后再次壮烈倒下，还好没第一次严重。
虽然还有另一篇2000字的essay没写完，周六还是睡了一天。周日精力放在五分钟的radio作业上，磨磨蹭蹭直到晚上。发现状态不佳，没敢熬夜，于是12点就睡觉，早晨6点起来赶论文。终于还是没能在10点上课前完成。只能课间抽空，草草了事。
一个假期五个作业，总算TMD都完成了。
今天上的是documentary，一个新老师，老太太，超前卫，为配合绿色外套，竟然连眼线都画成了绿色。这是她眼睛搭在鼻头、翻着眼睛跟我说话时注意到的。
这边老师大多数老师上课都很轻松，跟你说说聊聊，讲点注意事项，然后看点片子，一天就这么混过去了。为防学期结束又要写什么reflective essay，为免到时又把学过些什么忘得一干二净，我就弄个bulletin points做个记录。
- 5-6min long, 7min max
- opening 20”: grabbing, relevant to the story, attract attention immediately
- music: not necessary; must go with the story; be aware of copyright issue
- closing: summarize in words what the story is about, what the purpose is and remind ppl why this story is important
- typically, 5-6” after pix comes the voiceover
- Thursday 21 Jan. pitch ideas for Doc: who to interivew, what are the first pix, etc.
It reminds me of the days of my communication studies course in the UK. Don’t worry, my experience is the more Chinese students the course has the less strict acadmic standard the course would have. They have various ways of improving Chinese students’ final score. Start counting then, mate….
where are you, steve? still in UK or back in China? surprised to see here…
